چکیده
Currently, adsorption is considered a promising technology for CO2 separation with wide range of adsorbents. A detailed study equilibrium and kinetics plays crucial role in the design operation industrial units. In this study, isotherm on two RSS-derived AC samples previously prepared our laboratory were evaluated using experiments pure at 25 °C 40 1 bar. Blank IL-functionalized showed capacity 2.16 mmol/g, 1.96 1.12 mmol/g 1.71 °C, respectively. Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin equations used to model low-pressure regions. The obtained results revealed that Freundlich provides an accurate fitting experimental findings, which indicate process occurs heterogeneous phase. Additionally, kinetic analysis was performed by four empirical models, namely pseudo-first order, pseudo-second Elovich, Avrami’s fractional models. Among order fits best both blank AC. Intra-particle Boyd’s film diffusion models mechanism.
